Apple Mail Setup

Configure Apple Mail (macOS) to work with SipherMail

Server Settings

Incoming Mail (IMAP)

Server:mail.sipher.net
Port:993
Security:SSL

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

Server:mail.sipher.net
Port:587
Security:STARTTLS
Step-by-Step Configuration
  1. Open Mail app on your Mac
  2. Go to Mail → Add Account
  3. Select "Other Mail Account" and click "Continue"
  4. Enter your name, SipherMail email address, and password
  5. Click "Sign In" - Mail will attempt to auto-configure
  6. If auto-configuration fails, click "Next" and enter the server settings manually
  7. Select the apps you want to use with this account (Mail, Contacts, Calendar, etc.)
  8. Click "Done"
