Outlook Setup

Configure Microsoft Outlook to work with SipherMail

Server Settings

Incoming Mail (IMAP)

Server:mail.sipher.net
Port:993
Encryption:SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

Server:mail.sipher.net
Port:587
Encryption:STARTTLS
Step-by-Step Configuration
  1. Open Outlook and go to File → Add Account
  2. Enter your SipherMail email address and click "Advanced options"
  3. Check "Let me set up my account manually" and click "Connect"
  4. Select "IMAP" as the account type
  5. Enter your password and click "Connect"
  6. In the IMAP settings, enter:
    • Incoming server: mail.sipher.net, Port: 993, Encryption: SSL/TLS
    • Outgoing server: mail.sipher.net, Port: 587, Encryption: STARTTLS
  7. Click "Next" and Outlook will test the connection
  8. If successful, your account is ready to use
